**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves. Surfing conditions deteriorated pretty quickly this morning with the wind making it’s change to the Western quandrant around 8.30am. Blowing on-shore at 4-7knots, and messing things up for the West coast crew. Right now at 5.00pm wave height is still only in the 1-3ft range on the Outer Reefs and onshore. A couple of the surfers staying here at “home base Bali” went over to Serangan located on the East coast and reckon they were pretty stoked to find solid 3-5ft+ waves and off-shore wind. But they also said it was a bit shifty, with plenty of sets on the head. So it’s good to hear there’s swell over on the East side. Dennis an me will be heading off in different directions for ya’s tomorrow. Dennis is going over to check out Keramas with the 600mm and I’ll be heading directly to Uluwatu with the 1000mm. These first 6 photos currently on baliwaves are an example of what Dennis can get, so expect more. Outside the sky has filled up with grey clouds and we could be in for a few drops later tonight. Send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali. Until later have a top day where eva ya are out there and hopefully we’ll see ya’s here in Bali in 2006.
One more very important thing before I go dept: A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
