**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello friends and thanks for tuning back inta the baliwaves today. This mornings 6.30am surf check of the Outer Reefs was not too exciting. The wind has been blowing outta the WSW all night and on-shore along the West Coast of Bali in the 6-9knot range. Wave height in between Kuta reef and Airport Left was breaking at 1-3ft+ and very wind affected. The sky is still clouded up and grey, left over from last nights rain but hopefully we’ll see a few breaks of blue up there as the day gets going. Right now at 7.30am the temperature is sitting on 25 Celcius, it should creep up a bit higher by midday. If everything runs smoothly we’ll still be making the run over to the East coast of Bali and see if we can shoot some new material for ya’s. Don’t forget tomorrow is “Hari Nyepi” here in Bali so we won’t be on-line. Try and imagine your home town shutting down for 24hrs, no lights on, no noise, no one on the street, at work or in the surf even if it’s all time perfect. Alright then, ya had better tune in later if ya want to know how it was here in bali today. Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali. Until later have a top day where eva ya are out there and hopefully we’ll see ya’s here in Bali in 2006.
One more very important thing before I go dept: A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
