**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning to all you lovers of fine weather and waves tuning into Bali today. Well first up I have left yesterday’s report (below) as we had some minor probs with the new system that controls the up-dates on baliwaves.com. Anyway today things have changed for the better, right now at 6.45am I’ve just returned from checking the action on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. Wave height was easily pushing into the 3-5ft+ range in between Kuta Reef and Airport Right. Wind direction has shifted back to the ENE and off-shore for now @ 1-3knot. The next tide is gunna be a pretty solid one at 2.5mtrs taking place between 10-11am. Outside we have more clear blue sky so we have everything on our side, we should be heading for a maximum land temp in the early thirties, water temp on 21-22 degree’s Celcius. If anyone’s looking for me, you’ll be able to find me at Kuta Reef. What’s your local doing today ? Back L8R.
27th April****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE**** G’day crew and welcome back to the baliwaves. Well I’ve been waiting all day, hoping that the wind would swing back to the ESE and off-shore. But it hasn’t yet, right now at 3.00pm the wind is still blowing straight outta the West at 5-8knots and on-shore as it has been since day breakm only much lighter back then. The good news is that there is a lot more swell happening on the Outer Reefs today with an increase of a good couple a feet of wave height. Basically there has been surfers out on all sections, from Kuta Reef right across to the Airport Right. Even now just after the low tide has passed there are still a few surfers out at Kuta Reef catching waves upta head high plus on the sets. Airport Left was also looking pretty good around lunch time at 2-4ft. There was probably plenty of clean surf over on the East Coast of Bali as well today, but I’m not going back there till the rain starts up again ! What I have got done for ya’s is loaded the bodyboarding page with another 10 tube rides plus also managed to load up two new video clips down the bottom of this page (Video 1, Video 2). Weather wise it’s been clear and blue with the mercury making it into the low 30’s Celcius. The charts are looking positive again for tomorrow as this new swell generating system moves in a bit closer, so the dawn patrol could be on the cards. Alright then check out the new stuff on baliwaves.com and we’ll be back in the morning with an eye witness account of how good it was out at Kuta Reef at sun-up. Talk to ya’s again then.

A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice.
