**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Good afternoon surfers and as always a big thanks for tuning into Bali’s surf and weather station. Well it was finally all good here along the West Coast this morning with a return of ENE off-shore wind. I was down checking on the Outer Reefs of Tuban at 6.30am this morning. Wave height was only small in between Kuta Reef and Airport left but with off-shore wind. Not quite big enough for a paddle at Kuta Reef, only around waist high at best. While Airport Left had a pretty consistant 2 footer coming through, waist to chest high. But with the tide dropping Middle Reef had the odd head high set breaking and very surfable. Me and a few of the guests staying here at Home Base got to enjoy Middle Reef in the clean conditions for about an hour and a half by ourselves before anyone else ventured out. Then about 20 minutes before our boat was due to come and pick us up the wind swung to the WNW and on-shore. I’d say any of the early risers down at Uluwatu mighta been scoring some clean 2-4 footers on the main Peak around the same time. Right now at 3.45pm the wind is coming outta the WNW at 4-6knot and not much change in wave height, still pretty small. We have also been graced with a perfect blue sky all day, and it’s still that way now. The temperature woulda easily busted into the low 30’s Celcius and the water temp is pretty damn good at 24 Celcius. Ok friends the waiting is just about over, so get those flights booked and get over here. Tune in again tomorrow for the full run down on Bali’s surf and weather, hopefully it’s be coming from Uluwatu. Best Regards from surfer friendly Bali.

A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans, by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
