**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day crew and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves. I’ve kept my end of the deal, I was down checking on any surf prospects at Kuta Reef down to Airport’s @ 6.40am. No chance, wave height on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was in the occassional half to half foot range. So I’d say when the High tide of 2.2 mtrs rolls in around 9.00am it’ll be like a lake out there. You might be lucky to find a few small beach breaks happening around the Padma St area of Legian, maybe even a few smallies are breaking at Canggu ? Then, you know Uluwatu always has something on offer for the hardy. The Low Tide is set for mid afternoon, around 3.00pm @ 0.5 mtrs. It’s also time for another New Moon tomorrow so we can expect to see some bigger ranges between the High and Low water marks. Down at the beach the wind was just starting to perk up, coming outta the N-NNE @ 1-2knot. More Holiday friendly weather coming our way, blue sky with the land temp around 30 degree’s Celcius. The water temperature has dropped a couple of pegs over the last week, to around the 20 C mark. Even though, it’s still perfect for boardshorts and bikini’s not steamers. Ok then folks, not long to go and we should have some more swell on the reefs, hopefully sometime in the next 24-48hrs. So either stay tuned right here on baliwaves for the visual or get yourselves over here and do some practicle. Best Regards from the happy holiday island of Bali.
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs.
