**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy reef riders and welcome aboard the baliwaves. I was down doing my 6.30am surf recon of the Outer Reefs, hoping on seeing Kuta Reef winding out. But not quite, wave height on the Outers was ranging between 1-3ft. Kuta Reef did have a couple of surfers out there, the waves were breaking perfectly but only in the waist high catogory. Middle Reef was still a bit fat from the High tide and Airport left looked to be the pick this morning with a consistent 3 footer hitting the reef. Speaking of tides, the next High tide is gunna be a 2.4 mtr High @ 9.00am then the Low water level of 0.3 mtrs between 3.00-4.00pm. Wind direction down the beach was just detectable coming outta the SE and blowing off-shore here along the West Coast of Bali. Another part cloud part sun type start to our day over here, but ya can be sure of a warm temperature outta the shade ! Well no dawny at the local for me.. nah, instead I’ll be dragging the 1000mm lense down to Uluwatu and see what’s on down there. Here’s a tip for anyone unfortunate enough to get their board dinged up. Take it down to Uluwatu and the boys will more than likely fix it while you kick back and enjoy the scenery, and do a top job ! I’ll be back again later this afternoon with the rundown on how it was, so drop by then. Best Regards from the little tropical island that constantly pumps out perfect waves and weather, Bali.
