**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves, Bali’s beach and weather report station. Well my 6.30am surf check on the Oute Reefs of Tuban was pretty well what I expected to find. Wave height in between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was battling to be in the 1ft range or knee high. Can’t fault todays weather though, there’s a mainly blue sky with some cloud building up in the ESE and the wind is light off-shore outta the ESE. The tide has just hit the top of a 1.7 mtr range High and the next Low water mark will be 1.0mtr @ 1.00pm. You can count on the temperature making the late 20’s and possibly creeping into the low 30’s Celcius. And the water temperature along Bali’s West coast is as good as ever @ 22 degree’s Celcius. Once again if you had to get a surf in today your best chances would be down at Uluwatu or, maybe even up along the beach breaks of Kuta and Legian. For those who don’t yet know, when the surf is too small here on the Outer reefs wave height down on the Southern end of Bali is still reaching head high, at least. Uluwatu is facing straight into the Indian Ocean and will bend in any wave there is in it. Here’s another bit of info off the streets and beaches of Bali, everything is still exactly as it’s always been. There’s no added tension or bad vibes ? Just people and surfer’s from all over the World having a ball. Alright then I’ll find something to load up for ya’s later this arvo plus I’ll have the days wrap on Bali’s surf and weather conditions. Until then have a good one, even if it is Monday. ron.
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. I think it costs around AU$70.00 per year to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books plus pocket money.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice. How to get over to Lakey Peak and still have money to spread around. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
Best Regards from Your Bali.
