**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hey crew welcome back to the baliwaves this windy Wednesday. I was down checking surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs of Tuban at 6.15am this morning, just on dawn. Wave height seemed to be pretty much the same as it was yesterday, in the 3-5ft class in between Kuta Reef and Airport lefts. You can count out Airport Right due to the fact that the wind was already cranking outta the ESE at 5-10 knot. Airport Right has a lotta open water in front of it so as soon as the wind gets too strong the wave face becomes to chopped out and bumpy. We had a 2.0 mtr High tide through the early am and the next Low tide is gunna be 0.8 mtrs around 1.00-2.00pm this arvo. I’ve been tossing up where to go and set up the camera, it’s a tough call to get the right light + right tide + action. So I’ve given into going and sitting out in the channel at Kuta Reef with the hand holdable 600mm lense, very shortly. So if ya wanna good look at KR make sure ya drop back by later this evening. Apart from the strong off-shore wind outside everything else is as it should be in regards to perfect holiday stuff. Another warm to hot one temperature wise for the beach lovers, water temp refreshing at 19 degree’s Celcius. Ok folks I gotta get out there, back ron. Best Regards from Day 8 of Perfect Waves in Bali.
A little while back I mentioned something about baliwaves.com wanting to help out with a charity organisation carring for Balinese Orphans , by finding kind hearted folks to sponsor kids for their basic schooling needs. Well just for now if anyone would like a bit more information please send an email to: [email protected]
Purnie will be able to pass on all the info. It doesn’t cost much to provide a poor little kid with a school uniform, school fee’s and books.
Here’s a quick up-date on the Bali Orphan Project, last week baliwaves.com found sponsors for 3 unfortunate Balinese kiddies. Now if we can only keep the momentum going I know we can do some more, AU$8.00 per month per year for everything needed to put a child in school.
Feel free to send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into the G-Land camp of your choice.
