**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day reef riders and beach lovers, thanks for tuning into Bali’s surf and weather report machine. Yesterday wave height stayed pretty solid on the Outer Reefs and just a touch too big for optimum quality, and then, not quite big enough for Padang Padang to sort em out. This morning @ 6.30am wave height has settled down some and maybe even dropped off a foot or so between Kuta Reef and Airport Right, the set waves were still ranging from 3-5ft+ though. There were already surfers in the water at Kuta and Middle Reefs while the tide was just coming off the Top of a 2.1mtr High water mark. The next Low is gunna be 0.8mtr Low just after lunch time. A couple of the surfers staying here at “home base” snuck around to Airport Rights just after sun up and reckon it was f&#@$**g cranking @ 3-4ft. The wind was light outta the NNE @ 1-3knot to start with but has started to turn more ESE-SE now at 9.30am. Not a bad looking day outside either with a mainly blue sky and off-shore wind and still plenty of waves happening all along Bali’s famous West Coast to go take your pick of. I can’t get out for photos today and I’ll just let ya’s know why. The fantastic people here at Sunny House who have been helping baliwaves.com out by lending me there car to load all the camera gear in have gone to sell the old girl and try and pick up a replacement ve-ickle. Bescause the last two times we took her out on location she broke down on us and left us posted with a worn out donk. Hopefully we’ll have the show back on the road by tomorrow. In the mean time I’ll make the most of the down time by joining the ranks out at Kuta Reef ! Hey if your coming to Bali or even going on any surf trip for that matter take a look at NATURALFOOTED.COM banner link and get yaself one of those first aid kits. I’ve seen a lotta surfing injuries, and those “kits” have got absolutely everything in them you may need while on the road for “first aid”. Alright have a good one what eva ya got on and remember Bali has got exactly what you want, when it comes to sunshine, surf and friendly smiles. Best Regards.
