**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy folks, Day 8 of non-stop cranking surf here along Bali’s West Coast. Yesterday as ya can see in these latest photos I made the run down to Padang Padang for the Low tide. With the Outer Reefs of Tuban maxing out PP was probably the best option. Wave height was hitting the shelf in the 4-6ft range but a bit of a wait between sets. The crowd was pretty mellow with only around 20-30 surfers, local surfer “Kopling” from Billabong Indonesia was picking off some of the bigger sets and getting real deep inside the tube. The action along the beach was also pretty damn hot as usual. Ok this morning, Sunday the 23rd and we got some nice looking waves breaking on Kuta Reef and Airport Left this morning in the 3-4ft+ range. Airport right woulda been working for the dawn patrol crew once again. The wind was virtually non-existent at 7.00am but now @ 8.30am it is coming outta the ESE-SE, off-shore @ 6-10knot+. The tide is just passing the top of a 2.2mtr High water line, running down to 0.5mtr Low level around 3.30pm. Another round of clear blue sky and perfect beach weather on the cards for Bali. Hey, and have ya had a look at the swell prediction graphics for the Indian Ocean lately, she’s lit right up ! So expect to see it as it happens here on the baliwaves, unless your packing ya bags and making tracks to Indonesia. Best Regards from Surfer Friendly Bali.
