**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning crew and thanks for calling into the baliwaves. These current photos were shot down at Uluwatu yesterday and as ya can see in a couple of the images wave height was getting pretty serious out on the Main Peak. There were only around 10 surfers in the water while I was on the scene but as the tide started to run down after lunch there was a few more surfers venturing out. Wave height woulda been getting up into the 6-8ft+ but I wouldn’t call it perfect Uluwatu by a long shot. Coming home past Padang Padang and Impossible’s there was quite a few surfers spread along the top end of the reef and I think there might have even been a few 2-4 footers breaking at Padang Padang as well. This morning the 27th and at 7.00am there’s no shortage of swell breaking on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Rights is up there in the 3-6ft class as the tide was just starting to run up to a 2.5 mtr High set for around 11.00am then is gunna fall all the way down to 0.1mtr Low around 5.30pm. Kuta Reef is gunna be cranking over the next few hours and will be one of the best waves on offer for the crew today, in my biased opinion anyway. There was bugger all wind earlier and even now at 8.00am it’s still pretty well non-existent but should swing around to the ESE-SE by midday at the latest. Another cloudy start upstairs but that should clear up when the wind kicks in. Ok Team have a good one out there today and try and drop around later this evening for the full wrap on todays surfing and weather conditions as it is. Just a quick reminder to all the people wanting to help out with the Bali Orphan Scholarship Program, please hang in there and stay tuned becuase as soon as I can find the right people / organisation the program will resume. And a million thank you’s to the kind hearted folk who already jumped in and helped out ! Until later on it’s Best Regards from the No.1 Surfing Holiday Destination on the Planet, Bali.
