**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day crew thanks for dropping by. Yesterday afternoon wave height started to pick up and around sun set there were some fairly solid waves breaking out on Middle Reef while the tide was Low. Today on my 6.30am surf check there were still plenty of waves breaking on all reefs from Kuta to Airports, ranging from 2-4ft+ Wind direction then was coming outta the NNW @ 3-7knot but now at 9.00am has switched back to the ESE-SE, off-shore in the 7-12knot strength. I reckon now that the tide is starting it’s run up to a 2.4mtr High set for lunch time Kuta Reef and Airport Left should be producing some fun sized head plus high waves. Middle Reef will be better suited to the lower end of the tide through the afternoon as it drops down to 0.1mtr around sunset. Unusual for this time of the year we had some heavy rainfall through the early am and even now it’s still pretty cloudy up-stairs. But that’s irrelevant really when ya got off-shore wind, swell, perfect reef set-ups not to mention warm water. Hey and don’t forget that the annual KUTA CARNIVAL will be on again next month, I’ll try and keep ya’s up-dated on what’s going down this year. Have a good one and get ready for a big weekend on baliwaves, maybe even starting this evening. Until then, Best Regards from the No.1 surfing holiday destination and 100% surfer friendly island of Bali.
Please if ya can help out baliwaves with a dollar or two we would certainly appreciate it, ( I certainly would..) I really wanna be able to do a lot more helping out with the less fortunate folk around Bali and Indo but first I need to make sure that baliwaves.com keeps it’s head above the high tide line, if ya know what I mean. Right now I’m just doing it, but my credit card is just about maxed out in the red. To tell ya the truth, I don’t want more than I need to get by. I’ve been borrowing cars for the last 8 years to get you guys the material that gets ya stoked. This isn’t an anual thing by the way, it’s just baliwaves.com asking for a helping hand at times of need. Thanks and Best Regards from Your Bali.
