**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy folks and sorry about the wait, I did type up and edit a new surf report and photos yesterday afternoon but when i went to load it all up my line was dead.. Anyway, here’s how Uluwatu looked this morning instead. I had my quick look at the Outer Reefs first up @ 6.30am and surfing conditions were looking ok again out on Middle Reef with the tide still falling. Wave height was in the 2-3ft+ range and surfing conditions were pretty well clean and glassy. By the time I arrived down at Uluwatu a couple of hours later everything was still looking good. The Racetrack was cranking out 3-4ft caverns and there was only around 12 surfers in the water. By this time the wind was coming outta the SSE-SE and off-shore along the Track. When I left Uluwatu at 12.00pm the tide was starting to creep in and traffic in the water had doubled. The wind was also starting to come around about more SSE. Coming home past Padang Padang and Impossible’s there looked like there was a fair crowd sitting down the line at Impossible’s catching 1-3 footers while Padang Padang was flat. It’s been faultless weatherwise, now @ 2.00pm the outside temperature is sitting around 31 degree’s Celcius and not a cloud in the sky. Ok then have a drool over the new photos and I’ll be back first thing in the morning with more of the latest Bali surf and info. Best Regards from Tube City, Bali.
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
