**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy folks, welcome back to the baliwaves this sunny Sunday (in Bali). Another classic day of waves and weather coming up for the lucky boys and girls holidaying it up over here. At 7.00am the waves were looking pretty good out on Middle Reef and Airport Left with the sets pushing 4ft, slighly smaller on Kuta Reef, but still with perfect shape. There were a handful of surfers on all sections but Middle Reef was by far producing the best quality on the Outers, with the odd 100yrd ride. Wind direction is coming cleanly off-shore outta the ESE @ 4-8knot. After some solid rainfall through the night the sky is pretty much a cloud free kinda blue. I reckon Uluwatu would have to be cranking out 4-5ft+ waves for the crew down on the southern end of the island. The next tide is going to be a 2.2mtr High @ 11.00am then draining out to 0.3 of a mtr around 5.00pm. Alright then, lottsa waves and lottsa sunshine is what we got in Bali today, far too nice a day to be inside… so I’ll see ya’s later this evening with something new. Best Regards from Your Bali.
Good New’s Dept: Due to an extreme bout of “what a bloody co-incidence” I may have found an organisation that takes a special interest in taking care of little Balinese kiddies that haven’t got any parents. Getting them decked out in school gear and organising their school fees, books, etc etc. They are a fully volunteer type outfit and hopefully soon I’ll have the full run down on how we can help out.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into G-Land. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
