**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** G’day crew and thanks for calling by the baliwaves. Well it all went pretty pair shaped yesterday shortly after I loaded up the report. As the tide rolled in the swell we had on the morning low disappeared and then to top it all off the wind went around to the WSW and on-shore. But todays Sunday, and usually there’s not to many of em go by without delivering good waves, kinda the opposite of everywhere else in the working mans world. Yeah, this morning we’ve got some nice waves happening here along Bali’s West Coast. I went down for the surf recon @ 6.30am, at that time it was still only showing 1-2ft of swell breaking between Kuta Reef and Airports. But slowly but surely every batch of set waves was getting bigger. I hung out down the beach till 7.00am and there was then 2-4 footers rocking through on the Outer Reefs. Earlier the wind was coming outta the North but now @ 10.00am it’s coming outta the ESE-SE blowing off-shore @ 3-7knot. The Tide has just hit the top of a 2.0mtr High and will soon be starting it’s run down to a 0.5mtr Low set for 4.00pm this arvo. We had some good rain last night and early this morning but it’s all blue sky and suhshine for the beach goers. Temperature wise the mercury should bust into the mid thirties (outta the shade) on the Celcius scale, while the water temp is un-beatable @ 24 C. Ok there’s plenty of options and locations on offer here in Bali today and I reckon wave height down at Uluwatu would be in the double head range and cranking. Alright then make the most of what eva ya got on today and start organising your friends and planning your next Indonesian tube fest now !
