**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Hello hello, what have we got here. Smoking waves down at Uluwatu this morning crew, going off ! I arrived at 9.15am to find some solid 4-5ft+ waves breaking on the Main Peak and Temple sections of Ulu. There was only something like 30 surfers spread out through the field at first but as the tide started to fill in that number increased to around 50 odd. I was shooting VIDEO (the clips should be sick when I get them cut) but my good friend Ari Ajus who regularly shoots photos at Uluwatu was kind enough to shoot a few random shots for baliwaves.com. Ok folks I wanna start cutting that video for ya’s now. So like I always keep telling ya’s, stay tuned right here to baliwaves.com if ya wanna know what’s really going on here in Bali . **** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning to all you surfers tuning into the baliwaves this good looking Wednesday . The time has just gone 7.30am here in Bali and I’ve just returned from the morning surf recon of the Outer Reefs of Tuban . Wave height is still hanging in there in the 3-4ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left and surfing conditions are clean with the aid of a still light E-ESE off-shore wind. Wave height has dropped off a touch from yesterday afternoon when there were solid 5ft+ waves hitting Middle Reef on the evening Low tide. Weather wise we’ve got a 50/50 type cloud and blue sky start that should only get better as the day rolls on. Still a bit too shallow for Kuta Reef and Airport Left at the moment but around 9.00-10.00am it should be well worth a paddle. The next tide is going to be a 2.4mtr High happening around 12.30pm . I’m just gunna kep this short and sweet for now as I wanna make a run down to Uluwatu with the Video camera and try and get ya’s some new video clips so ya’s can see for yaselves what the surf is like today. We all know video doesn’t bullshit, and if a photo’s worth a thousand words, what the truck is a video clip worth ?. Ok hang in there till later this afternoon and we’ll deliver the goods.
