Bali Surf Report – August 28 2007

MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** How are ya’s out there today ? Well I tell ya everythings shaping up for another good day of surfing and sun here in Bali , wish ya were here ! I went down for the surf recon of the Outer Reefs of Tuban at 7.00am and there’s still 2-4ft of swell wraping in between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . The tide was already at the 1.3mtr stage and heading for a 2.3mtr High between 10.00-11.00am. The wind was only light so surfing conditions were clean and glassy . Hopefully by midday we’ll get the Tradewind kicking in the ESE-SE off-shore wind. Kuta Reef had some 2-3 footers peeling across the reef and looked like fun to me. Middle Reef was breaking at head to a few feet over head and consistent. Airport Left had 2-3ft+ waves breaking and there might even be a few shoulder to head high waves around the other side of the airport runway on Airport Rights . Weather wise it’s pure beach stuff out there with blue sky and sunshine , So the merury should be busting into the low thirties with the water temp is still a tad cool @ 20 degree’s Celsius. So with all that said and done there’s virtually waves right along Bali’s West Coast and, from all reports in the East Coast has been firing as well. From Nusa Dua right up the coast to Keramas . Ok for me it’s time to goof off and go surfing but I have already cut ya’s one new surfing Video Clip from Uluwatu yesterday and it should be visible by the time I get back from KR. Our man Dan from down under on the Super Bank has sent through more photos and surf info and ya can find that on his Super Bank Report Page . No info in from the Mentawai’s so the boys at kandui must be getting skunked lately. Before I go I gotta say a big Hello to all the surfers that have been calling into the Dewi Sri Live Seafood Restaurant here in Tuban over the last couple of weeks.
