Bali Surf Report – September 28 2007

**** G’Day out there and thanks for tuning in for the run down on surf and weather conditions here in Bali today . I went down for the surf recon of the Outer Reefs at 6.45am . Wave height has backed off a touch over night but there’s still plenty of waves breaking in the 2-4ft range (shoulder to head high plus). The tide was just coming off the bottom of a 0.3mtr Low and is now on the run in for a 2.3mtr High set for around 11.30am. No wind present when I was down on the beach and surfing conditions were perfectly clean and glassy . Kuta Reef was breaking in the 2-2ft+ range but still too shallow. Maybe around 9.00-9.30am there should be some ok little peelers to play on. Middle Reef already had around 10 surfers on it and it was breaking pretty well perfectly in the head to head high plus range. Airports was also in need of more water covering the reef and like KR will improve as the tide runs in. I’m thinking you’d probably find some ok little waves down at Bingin this morning and more than likely the Racetrack section at Uluwatu would be producing some tube rides. Speaking of Uluwatu, seeing as though it’s been awhile since we had some photos or video from down there that’s where we are going to be covering for ya’s this weekend. Weather wise today we’ve got plenty of blue sky above us and we are in for a hot one around the beach. Yesterday my 3 yr old lap top computer started to show some signs of old age, giving me some head ache in the process. So that’s why I only managed to get one new video clip loaded up . But I’ll get the other 4 online for ya’s as soon as this report is up and running. For those of ya’s that don’t know how baliwaves.com is run.
