Its Groundhog Day!! Here at the Super bank
More like groundhog week.
Except for yesterday afternoon when I manged to geta few shots at Duranbah . there was a little spike in the wind swell and the school holidy crowd was out in full force.
The wind has turned into full blown 20 knot onshore northerlies again today (6th Oct)
Sorry I haven’t given you guys an update for a while but its more depressing than anything.
As I’ve mentioned here before, this time of year is notorious for producing days or even weeks of onshore Northerlies and small wind swell.
Which is pretty much what’s been happening here for the last week.
Its flat and looks like being flat for a while yet…
The weather on the other hand has been great for the beach.
Looking at forecasts It looks as though there is nothing happening in the waves department for at least the next 3-4 days.
So my advice is get some work done, chop some wood, go fishing….or dam!! If you’ve got the cash head to Bali its pumping there right now.
Anyway…Summer and cyclone season> is creeping up on us and before you know it we’ll be checking out those perfect super bank barrels again.
Also congratulations to local boy and Kirra Surdriders stalwart Mick Fanning , who looks certain to take out the world title this year after taking out the Quiky Pro in France last week. YEEEEAAAAH an Aussie world champ… about time!!
