This morning there was only some light winds and the outreefs were showing 3-4ft of swell. The tide was still to low at 6am when I checked it but I sms’d my mate and told him to meet me at Canggu. I had not been up there for some time and I wonted to go and check it out. The wind stayed light till about 10am and then gradually picked up in strength. There was some great waves up there. I didn’t get to start shooting photos till about 11am though as I had a sliglht change in plan just as I was about to start. When I did finally get some photos I was not dissapointed with the quality of the waves and the surfing that was going down. Local ripper betet was blowing up with frontside air reverses every wave almost. My mate Shane was also laying down some pretty nice tracks and the small number of other crew made the most it all. There was only about 12 people on the right which is where these latest photos were taken. Maybe another half a dozen on the left and nobody was surfing the middle section. There was also a strong crew futher south that I could see making the most of the waves on that section of beach. When I spotted some dark clouds on the way I packed up and headed home there is storm building as I type this up so it it wont be long before the rain is bucketing down. Its been pretty humid all day so its no suprise this time of year. Ok check it out, hope you enjoy.
