Duranbah / Australia
Well today was my first chance to take some photos since getting back into Australia on Wednesday. I have been running around and catching up and organising different bits and pieces. Conditions down at D’bah were pretty wind blown today with a strong wind coming out of the south. This didn’t stop the large numbers of surfers hitting the water and making the most of the long australia day weekend. Sets were coming through pretty regularly in the 3 ft range or head to a little over head high. The tide was reasonably high and the beach is still washed out from the large tides we have had over here. It was the old adage that you should have been here yesterday. I had done a drive past just to check and conditions then were a lot cleaner and the swell was bigger I just didn’t have the camera on me to get the evidence so you’ll just have to believe me. Back to today and around the corner at snapper and conditions were still clean due to the protection of the headland but the waves were aleast a foot or so smaller. With plenty of crowd making the most of this famous stretch of sand. Ok I’ll try and keep some info coming in when I get the chance, till next time!
