Hang in there for now crew and check out the photos from Uluwatu yesterday, I’ll give ya’s te run down on todays surf and weather a bit later on this afternoon. Slim.
**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning crew and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com daily surf and weather report. Ok my 6.30am surf check of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a further drop in size but there were still some waves breaking in the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . The tide was all but on the bottom of a 0.2mtr Low and the wind was light off-shore outta the NE @ 0.1knot . Nothing really worth surfing on Kuta Reef or Airports but ya coulda found a wave or two at Middle Reef . No surfers in sight while I was on the beach.
We might just take advantage of the clean and calm conditions this morning has to offer and head down to Uluwatu , just for something different, lol. I also bumped into my mate Devis Ratif while I was out earlier and he was on his way up to Keramas. He said that there were some perfect llittle waves in the 3ft or head high range up there for the “crew” yesterday.
Weather wise it’s looking good out there for now with blue sky and hardly any wind for that matter. It’s a pretty safe bet to say the mercury will be creep’n into the low 30’s on the Celsius scale. While the water temperature remains at a very boardshort friendly 24 degree’s Celsius. I’ll have a look at the the swell prediction and synoptic charts later on this evening and give ya’s my estimate on what we can expect over the coming week.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you’ll find that 1US $=Rp9,100 –1AU$=Rp8,400 – 1EU$=Rp13,675
