**** DAYS END SURF UP-DATE **** Hello friends of Bali and thanks for stinking around to find out whats been happening surf and weather wise here on the holiday island of Bali . Well not much surf wise, but still there was enough to have a splash around in. On the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wave height was only just pushing through in the 1-2ft range . The day started off pretty well windless so surfing conditions were clean and glassy through till around late morning.
Probably the best place for a paddle today was down along the too many to mention beach breaks down along the Kuta to Legian area , where ya could find a place to yourself. That’s where the crew from Home Base hung out today. But for some strange reason the water was polluted with thousands apon thousands of dead little Pilchard like fish. When the wind did come up she was cominmg outta the SW @ 3-7knot and cross/on-shore virtually right around the island.
Weather wise it’s been all good all day, and on the 0-10 weather scale I’d a give her a 7 outta 10.
Swell Forecast (27thFeb – 4th Mar) The next few days and we are gunna have to grit out teeth and bare out small waves in the 1-3ft range depending on location. Then around Saturday or Sunday things are starting to look better with a shift in wind direction and tending to the NNE-E providing semi off-shore to off-shore wind here along the West Coast. Then (fingers crossed) a new swell system should also start to show around Sunday building over the next few days and provide plenty of swell through till mid week.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta and you’ll find that; –1US$=Rp8,990 – 1AU$=Rp8,275 – 1EU$=Rp13,675.
