This morning I was out at Snapper by 5:30am and there was some nice waves coming through. I managed to snavel a few of the hungry crew that were already in the water. The water is warm at around 22 degrees. The waves were in the 2-4ft range. I grabbed a wave off snapper rocks and then surfed my way down to Greenmount beach. I surfed till the arms were worn out paddling, before calling it quits. I wonted to check out D’bah on the way home, so driving past, I noted that there was around a dozen guys out having a dig. COnditions were clean but the waves seemed to be shutting down a little. If you had the patients it would have been a good call to get the od one which for sure would have been running off. I decieded to go and have a look at Burleigh Heads as I had thrown the camera gear in the car. I got up there about 8:30am, it was a bit of a wash but there was a strong crew in the water catching waves on average in the 3ft range. I shot a few photos from the main peak and then walked around to the cove to watch the carnage as people jump off the rocks. It was pretty fun, one poor Japanese girl was a little to keen and got caught by a wave and ended up being washed back up the rocks. She was ok, and still managed to get out the back and cleaned up by a few waves. I give her props for having a go. I also saw Drew Adler heading out as I was headed home about 10:30am. Till next time!
