**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello surfers and thanks for stopping in for the baliwaves.com daily surf and weather run down . Ok I’ve just got back from doing the 6.30am surf recon of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban and we still have some swell out there today. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left has dropped off a touch but still showing in the 2-4ft range .
The tide is currently on the bottom of a 0.3mtr Low (7.00am) and will be running back up for a 2.5mtr High around 1.30pm. No wind present for now but I’ve got the feeling she’ll be swinging to the ENE-SE by lunch time and once again off-shore from Legian to Uluwatu by midday.
The tide was still too shallow for Kuta Reef but by mid morning there should be a few waves in the waist to head high class. Middle Reef already had 2-3 surfers out there and I did see a few nice one’s breaking in the 2-4ft range . Just like Kuta Reef Airport Left was still too shallow and will also improve as the tide runs back in. I’d have to imagine Uluwatu would be the surfer popular choice and wave height would have to still be hitting the 3-5ft mark. But for that matter there would be good waves breaking at just about every location around Bali this morning while the wind is still light.
Weather wise we have another bright and sunny morning for the lucky surfers already here in Bali, I’d have to give her a 10-10 on the baliwaves.com weather scale.
Another thing I couldn’t help but notice while I was on the beach, was the increased amount of beach front damage that’s happened at the Pantai Restaurant / Ma Jolley and Bali Bintang Ramada Hotels . I’ll try and get ya’s a few more photos into the Kuta Cam later through the day.
