**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Hey crew and welcome back to the baliwaves.com daily 7/7 surf and weather report website . And the start of another surfing week here on the happy little surf riddled holiday island of Bali .
Well first up this morning the the Outer Reefs here in Tuban , namely Kuta Reef, Middle Reef & Airport Left was still showing wave height coming through in the 3-5ft range. The first of our tides today was a 1.0mtr Low @ 8.30am and then followed up with a 2.0mtr High @ 2.30pm. The wind was still only light and through the early am coming outta the ENE @ 1-4knot . Until the ESE-SE off-shore Tradewind kicked in around 8.45 and quickly picked up into the 10-15knot class .
By that time we down on location at Uluwatu as ya’s can see in these latest photos to come outta Indonesia . Wave height down at Ulu was still pushing through at a solid 4-6ft but just wasn’t doing it’s usual thing today. Crowd wis e there wasn’t any with only 8 surfers in the water when we arrived and picking up to 11 surfers by the time we had had enough.
Weather wise today we’ve had a mainly hot and sunny day so far but there is some solid thunder type cloud starting to build up looking towards the North.
So nothing to spectacular today down at Uluwatu but if you want to see just how good it can get surf wis e here in Bali make sure ya take a trip through our baliwaves video clip collection . We now have over 200 clips from all around Bali , around 2.5hrs worth of stoke in all.

Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta and the Aussie dollar is just getting stronger and stronger, currently 1AU$=Rp8,700 while 1US$=Rp9,195.
Swell Forecast ; (9th May – 15th may) It’s all happening here in Bali folks. Small waves today before we should start to see a new system showing sometime late tomorrow afternoon and then building into a 6-8ft+ swell over the weekend. This should continue into next week with another system riding in on it’s back and keeping wave height in the medium to solid class and then furth er out towards the end of next week yet another solid swell system moving in on us.
