****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Hello friends of Bali and welcome to your baliwaves.com for the latest news on Bali’s surfing and weather conditions today.
This morning I was down on the beach at 7.15Am for a recon of the Outer reefs here in Tuban. Unfortunately there’s still hardly any swell showing between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, 1-1ft+ at best.
Wind direction was on-shore, coming out of the West @ 4-8knot and will more than likely increase in strength by midday / early afternoon.
Tide wise, we can expect a 0.7mtr Low around 10.00Am and then she’ll be running back in for a 2.1mtr High around 4.00Pm
Looking for a wave today, well we will be going for a run over to the East Coast as soon as the sun passes the 90 degree mark and try and get you some new photos. But don’t hold your breath because it’s been tiny over there for the last week. But never the less we are going. Maybe we’ll find a few smallies down at Geger Beach / Nusa Dua.
Weather wise, we have a much appreciated return to blue sky and sweet sunshine for the beach lovers here on vacation in Bali. According to Balinese tradition with the Chinese New Year swiftly approaching we should see more lighter winds and much more sunshine from here on in.
Ok then tune back in later this afternoon (Bali time) for a bit of an afternoon up date and hopefully some new photos.
Photo up-dates, Scott sent us another surf report and photos in from Burleigh Heads on Autralia’s Gold Coast. Plus I managed to load up over 100 photos into our January Surfing Gallery. So have a flick through those to give you some Bali Holiday inspiration.
