G’Day crew and thanks for dropping by your baliwaves.com for the daily run down on whats happening surf and weather wise in Bali.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking like we’ve had a slight boost in wave height with 2-3ft (waist to head high) of swell breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Unfortunately the wind is on-shore out of the West @ 5-8knots making it a bit too messy for a surf. No where near as clean as the conditions we had yesterday.
Tide wise today we’ll have a 2.0mtr High at midday and then a 0.7mtr Low around sunset time.
Looking for a wave today it’s going to have to be over on the East Coast anywhere between Nyang Nyangs (for no crowd) all the way up to Keramas (solid crowd). We’ve called a “lay day” for today and won’t be on the wave hunt. But we will be back on the road in search of waves again come tomorrow. So stay tuned to the one and only original Bali Surf Report website.
Weather wise today in Bali we have a mostly blue sky with the odd patch of cloud moving through it. Heading for a maximum temperature of 31 degree’s along the beach.
Ok crew we hope you have a good one today, even if you are back at work. And forgive me for asking but….. It’s just about time for baliwaves.com to up-date our one and only working computer. If anyone can help us out getting a new machine we would be eternally grateful and at your service on your next visit to Bali. Our target would be just under AU$1000.00 thanks again !
Corrections; Re Chinese New Year “not knowing any Chinese surfers” Well I’ve just been reminded by my good friend Zach (Singapore National and hard core Bali Veteran) with a “what about me dude” Sorry Zach !!!
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban you’ll find that 1AU$=Rp7,150 and 1US$=Rp10,850 give or take 100Rupiah depending on vender.
