****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers ‘n thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com Sunday Session for the low down on todays surfing and weather conditions here on the tropical holiday island of Bali.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to have already backed off a touch but still showing in the 2-3ft+ sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean as a whistle with the aid of an early morning light ESE off-shore wind. Kuta Reef had waist to shoulder high plus waves breaking and already at least 20 surfers in the water by 7.00am. Middle Reef was looking the best and picking up the bigger shoulder to head high plus set waves and also a handful of surfers out there. Airport Left was size wise pretty much the same as Kuta Reef with set waves up to head high when they came through.
Our daily sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp was saying that wave height on the sets was still hitting Money Tree’s in the 6ft or double head high plus range, and looking like another good day of waves at G-land today. Over at Lakey Peak wave height has also back off a touch on the Peak but still co ming through in the shoulder to head high range.
Tidal info for today is calling for a 1.1mtr Low @ 10.00am and then coming back in for a 1.7mtr High around 4pm.
Weather wise it’s just another hot and sunny day on the holiday island, heading for a top temperature of around 30 degree’s Celsius. The water temp is perfect at 23 degree’s Celsius.
Swell Forecast; Well going off the information from the swell forecasters it looks like wave height is going to keep dropping off through Monday and then late Tuesday we should see another spike in wave height that will peak through Wednesday. Thursday started to drop back off but there should still be some waves through till Friday before fading right out.
Ok Scott has also dropped us off another bunch of photos he shot yesterday afternoon up the coast a bit but he’s not saying where exactly. But I think I know where ! You can find them on our Readers Report page.
Ok crew have a good one and get ready for another new week of waves here on the one and only original Bali surf report website.
