Good morning crew and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination your going to find. And we’ve got a big one for ya’s today. Starting off with another 30 photos from our Team (Hendra Surf Photography) down at Uluwatu with also a couple of bonus photos featuring Padang Padang. Then courtesy of the G-land Surf Camp we’ve got another 20 + photos of G-land from the last few days (G-Land Report page). And for the body boarders there’s another batch on your page from Uluwatu and Padang Padang. But wait, there’s still more. Scotto was also down at Padang Padang yesterday and he’s given us a dozen water shots from there as well and you’ll find them in the Readers Reprot page.
This mornings 6.45am surf check of the Outer reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be still hanging around in the 2-4ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time there were some fun sized waves in the chest to head high class peeling off on Kuta Reef and a steadily increasing number of surfers making their way out there. Middle Reef was slightly bigger, pushing the 4ft range and will be at it’s best after the high tide passes. Airport Left was picking up some solid 3-4 footers and will improve around the top of the tide. Heading down towards the Bukit and I’m sure you’d be able to take your pick of any of the locations. And of course Uluwatu would still be attracting the most size and power.
Surfing conditions this morning were clean and glassy, but now at 10.00am should be even better with the ESE-SE Tradewind just starting to kick in and tidy things right up.
Tidal info for today is saying we’ll have a solid 2.6mtr High @ 11.00am and then a reef exposing 0.1mtr Low around the 5.00pm mark.
Our daily sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp is calling wave height in the solid 5ft sector hitting the Launching Pad with 15 surfers in the water at 8.00am.
Weather conditions here in bali (Tuban) this morning are shaping up for another perfect holiday type day (for the lucky ones) Heading for a maximum temperature of around 32 degree’s Celsius. Water temperature a very pleasant 23 degree’s Celsius.
Swell forecast is now saying that wave height should hold in the current state over Monday before backing off late on Tuesday. Then continue to fade out through until late next Thursday when our next swell is predeicted to arrive.
See ya’s again tomorrow for more Bali surf and weather info along with more photos of the best of what Bali has to offer (from a surfers perspective)
