****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE****
Hi crew and thanks for stopping by again today to see whats going down on your favorite surfing holiday destination. But alas it’s not looking too crash hot surfwise.
My 8.00AM surf check of the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to be still only showing in the 1 to 1ft plus range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. And to seal the deal here along the West Coast the wind was on-shore coming out of the W-SW @ 7-10knot. One of the surfers staying with us here at Home Base has gone for a run over to East Coast on a scouting mission in search of waves. So if there is anything happening over there then that’s where we’ll be heading for tomorrow ok.
Just for the record Tidal info for today had a 0.4mtr Low @ 9.00AM and then running back in for a 1.8mtr High around 3.00PM
Weather wise it’s all good with plenty of blue sky and sunshine for the beach lovers. Currently at 12.30PM the temperature would be a warm 30 degree’s Celsius.
It’s also time for us today to introduce our new surf report “Byron Bay to Lennox Heads” That part of Australia’s NSW north coast was always one of my favorite surf stops and almost mandatory. So thanks to our man Craig Parry who is going to be bringing the reports and photos to us. For a sample of Craig’s photography check out the gems he has loaded (for now) into our Readers Report page.
Time’s also running out for anyone wanting to get on the “Private G-Land Session” For anyone that is raring to go make sure you meet us in the G-Land Surf Camp’s office (Poppies Lane 2 / Kuta, next to the Barong Hotel) between 6-7pm on the 25th (thats tomorrow !) with your passport details and US$200.00
