****HOLIDAY SURF UP-DATE****
G’Day crew and thanks for stopping by to see if Slim has dropped another batch of photos, and yes ! courtesy from Hendra Surf Photography & Ketut at Home Base.
I’m still in Newcastle / Australia and still there hasn’t been any waves over the last few days. But what we have had is one hot day from hell, with yesterdays temperature peaking around 37 degree’s Celsius. Then today it’s overcast, cool and on the brink of raning. But at least the wind is coming out of the ESE so that might swing in a bit of swell for the Newy Boys.
According to Ketut over in Bali wave height was pretty ordinary a few days back with only 1-2 footers on the Outer Reefs (Kuta Reef to Airport Left). But has been slowing showing some increase, today there are waist to over head waves on the Outers. As ya’s can see in these current photos even Uluwatu was only ranging in the 3-5ft class (head to double head high) over the same period.
Wind direction has been variable but still with some off-shore wind coming out of the Easterly quadrant. But I’d have to imagine there be plenty of oportunities to get some action over on the East Coast.
Ok folks take it easy out there and I’ll give ya’s another up date shortly.
Best Regards
Slim
