****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hi folks and welcome back to your baliwaves.com for the very latest news on surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 surfing holiday island destination of Bali.
Firstly I gotta say a big hello to my good friend Till Dudda. Ok so yesterday as you may have noticed we called a lay day. The surf was still only marginal through the early morning and the wind was also blowing on-shore out of the West. But by late afternoon wave height on the Outer Reefs had jumped into the head to double head high range between Kuta reef and Airport Left.
This morning the 27th and at 6.15am wave height was still holding in the solid 3-5ft range on the Outer Reefs. Hardly any wind present at the time of my surf check with Kuta Reef barreling off in the head to well over head class and Middle Reef still in the 5ft or double head high division. But by 7.00am the wind was getting stronger out of the WNW, now around 6-9knot. Even so there was plenty of clean walls for the 5-10 surfers (including my crew) in the line-up. More on-shore wind expected again tomorrow so we’ll be heading to “somewhere” on the east coast.
Tidal info for today had a 1.9mtr High @ 10.00am and then running out for a 0.8mtr Low @ 4.00pm. Tomorrow also see’s a Full Moon rising so we will see some solid tide differences starting soon after.
Weather wise from dawn this morning there was always the threat of rain and that’s why we never got you any new photos today. Even so it’s been a warm and humid old day with the temperature up there around 28 degree’s Celsius.
