****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com and your eye’s on the waves here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali. Today’s photos were sent into us from our friends at Hendra Surf Photography located at Uluwatu.
This morning I was down on the beach at 6.15am to find some nice looking waves peeling off in the 2-3ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There wasn’t a surfer in sight and Kuta Reef was peeling off consistant little chest to head high waves. Middle Reef was pushing the head to head high plus range, while Airport left also had some head to slightly over head surf on offer. It wasn’t until around 7.15am that I saw the first surfer making his way out to Middle Reef.
Surfing conditions, are once again perfect on the Outer reefs with only a light Easterly off-shore breeze @ 1-2knot.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 1.5mtr High @ 7.30am and then only just running back out for a 1.1mtr Low around the 1.30pm mark
Weather wise, clear blue sky and sunshine. Another perfect beach day coming on heading for an expected high of 34 degree’s Celsius. And hows the water temp at 25 degree’s Celsius.
Looking for a wave this morning, well you could just about take your pick where ever you wanted tp surf at. Best conditions and size will be through the morning. The wind will more than likely strengthen from the SE-ESE by midday and swell back off through the lower end of the tide.
Sms surf report from Deano over at the G-Land Surf Camp was saying that yesterday they had perfect 3-5ft (head to double head high) waves. Today it has backed off a touch but still peeling through in the 3-4ft range. He also mentioned that crowds are not a problem over at G-land at this time of the year !
Swell outlook for the next week is showing small to fun sized waves with a bit of a “yo-yo” affect. Then further out for early to mid next week we could be back in action with a more moderate swell in transit, if… she holds her course.
I’d also like to mention to anyone that’s interested in doing some advertising on Bali’s biggest surfing website (us) that for a special 3 month trial period we’ll give you over 30,000 views per month for as little as US$100.00 per month.
