****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to Bali’s Premier surfing website and your eye’s on the waves and weather here on the ever popular surfing holiday destination of Bali. And a big thanks to the team at Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu for providing us with these current photos they shot down at Uluwatu yesterday.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in the sleepy little surfing and fishing suburb of Tuban was showing some very nice waves indeed breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Kuta Reef was peeling off perfection in the head to well over head class on the run in tide. No shortage of surfers out there this morning with at least 25 surfers all over the classy waves. Middle Reef was slightly bigger and pushing the double head high range, but with a big high tide set for midday that’s not going to be helping Middle’s. Airport Left had the usual amount of waiting reef taxi’s parked in the channel indicating a solid Japanese crew out there. Wave height at Airports was way smaller with chest to chest high plus waves. I’d have to guess, seeing as you can’t see from here in Tuban, that Airport Rights would also be producing some nice little right handers.
Surfing conditions couldn’t be any better with the ESE off-shore Tradewind fanning the waves @ 6-8knots. Clean conditions between Kuta and Uluwatu today.
Tidal info has us down with another 0.2mtr Low @ 6.00am then once again a 2.5mtr High just after midday. Finishing off the day with a reef exposing 0.1mtr Low around sunset.
Looking for a wave it’s another day for taking your pick at which perfect reef break that takes’s your fancy, and there’s no shortage of those here in Bali. Or for the learners the beach breaks between Half Way Kuta beach through to Jalan Padma in Legian will be entertaining.
Weekend surf outlook is looking real positive for constant high end waves here in Bali. This swell should hold through today and into Saturday, then Sunday see’s the start of a building swell that will run through till Tuuesday. So stay tuned here to the baliwaves cause you know, and we know, that the internet never sleeps. We’ll keep you posted right through this coming swell and beyond !
Today’s weather conditions here today, blue sky with a warm to hot temperature in the low to mid 30’s on the Celsius scale. Ocean water temperature is equally good at 24-25 degree’s celsius.
