****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com for the very latest news on surfing and weather conditions here on the best value, sure bet surfing holiday island of Bali.
First up I better correct yesterdays report, by the time I went back down to the beach at 9.00am there were some nice little waves peeling off on all three main sections of the Outer Reefs in the 1-3ft range. Secondly thanks to the team at Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu for these current photos we have for you this morning.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs was with out a doubt showing smaller waves again today. Probably at best waist to chest high between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. I didn’t see any surfers in the water at the time.
Surfing conditions were back to fresh on-shore wind coming out of the WSW @ 4-6knot. But now at 9.30am it does seem to have backed off.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 1.9mtr High @ 8.00am and then running out for a 0.8mtr Low @ 2.00pm.
Today’s Weather is starting off cloudy this morning and there are still a few dark clouds to the East and South of Tuban. The winds have been pretty variable over the last week or so and more than likely to keep on doing so, until the Tradewind finally kicks in.
Swell prediction for next week says that wave height will keep backing off through today and Sunday. But we should still be able to find a few at the more exposed locations around Bali. Monday see’s a small pulse that will again fade out through Tuesday. Small waves Wednesday morning but by late Wednesday we should be feeling a solid new swell. Thursday will be the peak, and if the winds are with us should see a lot of locations producing waves.here along the West Coast. Dropping off hard through Friday and not much happening on the following Saturday. With another small pulse on Sunday to cap off next weekend.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta your going to be getting some good holiday value rates. — 1AU$=8,255 — 1US$=Rp8,985 — NZ$=Rp6,875 — Rates will vary from vendor to vendor.
