****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello crew and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves for todays news on surfing and weather conditions here on the tropical surfing holiday island of Bali. Thanks again to the team at Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu for todays photos.
This mornings 8.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs was purely outta rutein today. Nothing at all breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, flat. And with the tide on it’s way back in for a 2.3mtr High around 9.00am it’s not going to be improving any.
Surfing conditions are clean and smooth with the wind coming out of the E-ESE @ 3-5knot. Off-shore wind between Kuta and Uluwatu.
The next Low tide will be 0.4mtrs @ 3.30pm.
Looking for a wave today your going to be struggling to find any uncrowded perfection. What locations that do have a few smallies will be busy. You might find a beach break up along the Kuta to Padma st beach stretch on the high tide. Uluwatu should also still be breaking in the waist to chest high plus sector. Perfect for those that want to get the “surfing at Uluwatu” experience. And I’m sure the early risers woulda had a few waves over on the East Coast.
The Weather outside is pretty grey and dull right now at 8.30am but usually we end up with hot and sunny conditions by midday.
I’d also like to mention to anyone that’s interested in doing some advertising on Bali’s biggest surfing website (us) that for a special 3 month trial period we’ll give you over 30,000 views per month for as little as US$100.00 per month. Try us out and you’ll see for yourself, we can help promote your business.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you’ll find that — 1AU$=Rp8,300 — 1US$=Rp8,945 —
Swell prediction for next week says that wave height will keep backing off through today and Sunday. But we should still be able to find a few at the more exposed locations around Bali. Monday see’s a small pulse that will again fade out through Tuesday. Small waves Wednesday morning but by late Wednesday we should be feeling a solid new swell. Thursday will be the peak, and if the winds are with us should see a lot of locations producing waves.here along the West Coast. Dropping off hard through Friday and not much happening on the following Saturday. With another new swell on Sunday to cap off next weekend. So lets keep our fingers crossed anyway.
