****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Welcome back to the baliwaves and we’ve got a good looking day coming on here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali. Thanks again to the team at Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu for todays photos.
Ok game on, this mornings 7.30am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a nice little increase in wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Not a lot happening on Kuta Reef or Airport left but Middle Reef had no shortage of waves in the chest to over head class. Like yesterday morning the tide is running up for a solid 2.4mtr High @ 10.00am. So, unless the swell continue’s to build it won’t be helping any. But there is going to be a lot more locations on offer this morning that’s for sure.
Surfing conditions are clean and smooth with the wind coming lightly out of the East @ 1-3knot.
The next Low tide is going to be a 0.4mtr Low around the 4.00pm mark. We also have a Full Moon rising tonight.
Weather wise it’s a bit of a 50/50 with light cloud and blue sky. All the same we’ll be heading for a top temperature of around 33 degree’s Celsius.
I’d also like to mention to anyone that’s interested in doing some advertising on Bali’s biggest surfing website (us) that for a special 3 month trial period we’ll give you over 30,000 views per month for as little as US$100.00 per month. Try us out and you’ll see for yourself, we can help promote your business.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you’ll find that — 1AU$=Rp8,300 — 1US$=Rp8,945 —
Swell prediction for next week says that wave height will keep backing off through today and Sunday. But we should still be able to find a few at the more exposed locations around Bali. Monday see’s a small pulse that will again fade out through Tuesday. Small waves Wednesday morning but by late Wednesday we should be feeling a solid new swell. Thursday will be the peak, and if the winds are with us should see a lot of locations producing waves.here along the West Coast. Dropping off hard through Friday and not much happening on the following Saturday. With another small pulse on Sunday to cap off next weekend. But lets keep our fingers crossed anyway.
