****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
G’Day folks and thanks for taking the time out and dropping by the baliwaves.com for our Sunday Session. And thanks to the boys at Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu for todays 49 new photos. The tube rides just don’t stop down at Ulu as you’ll see after flicking through todays gallery.
So get down to your nearest travel agent and book yourselves in for some tube time at Bali ASAP.
This morning’s 7.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing some nice little waves up to head high peeling off on Middle Reef. The tide at the time was just coming off the bottom and will be running up hard for another 2.6mtr High. So around mid morning there should also be a few fun waves on Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Uluwatu will be the best location on offer for more size and power, not to mention the odd tube. As the tide peaks towards the higher end I’d say you could also find a little beach break up along the Kuta to legian stretch of sand.
Surfing conditions couldn’t be better with the wind coming out of the ESE-SE @ 4-7knot and will more than likely increase to 7-11knot by midday.
Weather wise it’s clean sailing here in Bali this morning. Nothing but blue sky, and that’s about all we’ll be having for the next 4-6 months. Temperature wise we’ll be expecting a maximum of 34 degree’s Celsius and the beach is going to be the place to be.
Swell forecast for the next 7 days is looking very good. Something like a new swell arriving on Tuesday that will run through to Thursday. Then another new system riding in on the back of the first. And then to top it all off it looks like yet another dose of solid waves filling in on the Saturday / Sunday following.
I’d also like to mention to anyone that’s interested in doing some advertising on Bali’s biggest surfing website (us) that for a special 3 month trial period we’ll give you over 30,000 views per month for as little as US$100.00 per month. Try us out and you’ll see for yourself, we can help promote your business.
Lakey Peak / Sumbawa, according to one of my old friends who has been over at Lakey’s for the last couple of weeks the crew that are there are loving life. Good consistant waves from the Peak to Periscopes and no crowd. No crowd only becuase Merpati Airlines here in Indo have cancelled all flights in and out for some reason.
