****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Good morning folks and welcome back to the baliwaves.com to find out what’s happening surf and weather wise here on your favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok, so I went down for my morning surf check on the Outer Reefs at 7.00am not expecting to see any waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left. And that’s exactly how it is out there today. Pretty much dead flat on the Outer’s but hopefully if the swell forecaster guys have got it right we shouldn’t have to wait much longer.
Surfing conditions are true to form dry season with the wind coming out of the ESE @ 3-6knot. Off-shore wind betwen Kuta and Uluwatu. We can probably also expect it to increase in strength and turn a little more to the SE as the day progresses.
Tidal info for today has a 2.5mtr High around the 11.00am mark and then another reef exposing 0.1mtr Low @ 6.00pm.
Looking for a wave today, I suppose if you found something somewhere yesterday then you did well, so try there again today. It’s going to be pretty much in the micro class just about everywhere.
Weather wise it couldn’t be much better those here on holiday, just blue sky and warm water down at the beach.
Swell Prediction for the next 7 days is looking like we are going to be extremely busy. Currently today and through Monday wave height is going to stay the way it is today, small. Then Tuesday morning we should see the start of a new swell that should keep building through to Wednesday. And by that stage just about all of Java and all the way East to Sumba will be blanketed with solid waves. The system should weaken some through Thursday but not a hell of a lot before another solid swell comes in over the back. Then bam it’s on again, with the peak happening on the Friday. Then tapering off through next weekend.
I also managed to get those photos from Padang Padang loaded up onto our Readers Report page so if you’e got the time check them out.
