****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome to the baliwaves.com for another round of surfing and weather conditions and another fresh surfing gallery from your favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
As you can see today’s photo gallery has been supplied by our good friends down at Uluwatu, Hendra Surf Photography.
This mornings surf recon of the Outer Reefs was showing that wave height has backed off a foot or two between Kuta Reef and Airport left. But there are still plenty of waves coming through in the waist to over head class. Kuta Reef and Airport left are breaking in the waist to head high range. While Middle Reef still has some head to over head high set waves. Unfortunately once again the wind is getting pretty strong out there coming out of the ESE – SE @ 10 – 15knot. On the Outer Reefs that make’s it a lot harder to paddle into a wave being over 500mtrs distance out from the shore. Our Balangan connection has informed us that wave height down there this morning was coming through consistently in the head to well over head range. And further down the bukit at Uluwatu you will still find some solid double head high surf.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 0.5mtr Low @ 7.00am and then running back up for a 2.3mtr High around the 1.00pm mark.
Weather wise we have more high cloud buzzing over us this morning with some sunny patches. Temperature wise the mercury should bust into the low 30’s by early afternoon.
I’ve also loaded another surf report / photos from the Kandui Surf Resort located up in the Mentawai Islands. Plus our old friend Scott has also provided us with some water photography from Bingin.
I’d also like to welcome back Ketut Pica to the baliwaves.com team !!!
Looking for a wave today conditions are pretty similar to yesterday and my best bet would be to head back down to the southern end of the island to locations like Bingin, Balangan and Uluwatu for more size and power.
