G-Land Surf Camp
Hi crew and yeah I know it has taken a long time to get some photos from our friends at the G-Land Surf Camp. But finally we do have a nice little gallery of some waves at the famous left hand reef, taken over the last couple of weeks. It’s been a pretty quite time crowd wise over at G-Land this season compared to previous years. It looks like it is only going to be getting better at G-Land from this point in time onwards possibly through till November.

****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com, the original Bali surf report since ’99. For the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice surfing holiday destination of Bali. Today’s gallery is a wide angle view of Uluwatu from Ketut Pica.
Well we have had a pretty good run of waves over the last couple of weeks, but from yesterday wave height has taken a beating and has been knocked down into the knee to waist high plus sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Today see’s no change out there. But it is a nice sunny Saturday morning so there were a few surfers sitting on Middle Reef while the tide was on the bottom of a 0.4mtr Low at 7.00am.
Looking for a wave this morning, the ESE Tradewind has already kicked in and currently gusting up to 10knots, with the possibility of increasing up to 15knot+. So we can count out Canggu with the early morning low tide and ESE wind. The beach breaks along the Kuta to Legian strip also need the mid to high tide. So you could probably find a little beachie around midday. Balangan might have a little wave around mid to late morning. Uluwatu is going to be the place to find more size, power and off-shore wind.
Surfing conditions are as they should be, clean off-shore wind between Kuta and Uluwatu, coming out of the E – ESE.
Tide, the next tide is going to be 2.2mtr High around 1.30pm.
Weather wise it’s looking pretty good out there this morning, a little bit of cloud cruizing past, but mainly blue sky. Temperature wise we should be heading for something like 28 – 31 degree’s Celsius.
Swell Prediction; Hopefully tomorrow into Monday/ Tuesday we might see a small spike in wave height and a few more locations on offer. Wednesday morning should see the start of a new swell that could keep on building through Thursday before slowing fading out. Should still be a few waves for next weekend fingers crossed.
