****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello again friends and just thought I’d let you all know whats been going on today and throw another photo gallery up. Well as I mentioned in this mornings report the wind kept getting stronger all right, with gusts of over 20knot by midday. Ketut made a stop in at Balangan to find wave height breaking on the point and middle section in the head to well over head class. He mentioned there was also around 60 surfers spread along the reef. Uluwatu was where I stopped off to find wave height hitting the Main Peak in the over head to double head high plus class. No surfers on the Temple section as the wind was too strong, and around 40 surfers spread through the Main Peak. Today’s Uluwatu photos are courtesy of Hendra Surf Photography.
****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions here on the surf, sun and fun filled holiday island of Bali. A big thanks to the boys at Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu for this mornings photo gallery.
This mornings surf recon on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking pretty good. With the tide on the run in Kuta Reef had waves in the chest to over head range, peeling off some long rides. Middle Reef had a lot more size and will be getting better on the afternoon run out tide. Airport Left also had some fun sized waves in the chest to head high plus region. I’ll more than liekly get back to ya’s later this afternoon with another up date and hopefully some more photos. So stay tuned to the original Bali surf and weather report (’99).
Surfing conditions today see’s a return of strong off-shore wind coming out of the East @ 14 – 18knot+.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 2.3mtr High @ 10.30am and then draining out for a 0.2mtr Low around 5.30pm.
Weather wise it’s shaping up for another hot and sunny day along the south west coast of Bali. Plenty of early morning blue sky and I hope it stays that way. Heading for a top temperature of between 30 – 31 degree’s.
The news I heard from the crew at the G-Land Surf Camp yesterday was saying that wave height was coming through in the head to double head high plus range. Light and clean off-shore wind with only 3 surfers in the water at 7.00am.
