****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hey crew thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com and our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions here on the happy little holiday island if Bali. Those G-land photos I loaded up late last night if your interested can now be found on our Readers Report page. Ketut Pica took a run down to Uluwatu this morning and has taken care of today’s 54 photo strong galery. And just to finish off for the month of July with 895 photos loaded into the Bali surf reports alone.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing a slight bump in wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. With the tide still dropping at the time (7.30am) Middle Reef was the only option and wave height was coming through fairly consistently in the waist to head high range. It looked like there was some where around 8-12 surfers already out there. As it shows in todays photos Uluwatu had waves on all three sections from Temple’s to the Racetrack through mid morning.
Surfing conditions have been perfect for Bali’s south western coastline with the wind coming out of the E – ESE between 7 -12knot.
Tidal info today says we had a 0.5mtr Low @ 8.am and then running back in with a 2.1mtr High around 2.00pm.
Weather wise it doesn’t get any better than blue sky, sunshine and a tropical temperature ranging between 29 – 31 degree’s Celsius along the beach. The water temperature has cooled down a degree or two and currently between 21 – 23 degree’s celsius.
Swell Prediction; Hopefully tomorrow into Monday/ Tuesday we might see a small spike in wave height and a few more locations on offer. Wednesday morning should see the start of a new swell that could keep on building through Thursday before slowing fading out. Should still be a few waves for next weekend fingers crossed.
