Hi surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali. Just for our new viewers, Baliwaves was in fact the first website on the internet that gave out free surfing info on Bali, and to this day is still leading the way. Also the only Bali surf report website that opens straight into what your looking for, the surf report and photos. We are not trying to collect impressions we are just keeping it as easy as we can for you guys.
Anyway yesterday morning we were up pre dawn again for a surf mission to Keramas. We knew that the swell was just about finished here along the West Coast, and with the light and variable wind we’ve had over the last few days it was perfect conditions for Keramas. W arrived around 7.00AM to find wave height in the shoulder to head high plus region and a light off-shore wind. The tide was still just a touch too low but most importantly no other surfers in sight.
By the time we had finished our coffee the boys couldn’t hold back any longer and were soon out there. We had Keramas to ourselves for a good hour plus before the next surfer showed up and the waves were only getting better and better. By 10.00AM the wind was still clean off-shore and the number of surfers peaked at 13. We hung out for two sessions before heading back home around 1.00PM and then it was down to 6 surfers in the water and the wind just starting to turn on shore out of the ESE.
Ok folks I would have liked to have had this report on line for ya’s last night but I had 4 stoked surfers who wanted to show their appreciation with a few cold Bintangs. This morning wave height is even smaller again. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left only showing in the hip to nipple high class. There was already a few surfers on Middle’s at 7.00AM. Hopefully by tomorrow we will see a slight bump in size.
Looking for a wave the best chance will be down on the southern end of the island on either East or West Coast. Down there you should be able to find some head to head high plus surf.
Just for the record today’s tidal info says we will have a 0.3mtr Low @ 8.00AM and then running back up for a 1.9mtr High around 1.30PM.
Weather wise at the moment (7.30AM) there is not a breath of wind outside and the sky is pure blue. Shaping up for a top day along the beach with an expected temperature of around 33 degree’s Celsius.
sms text surf report from our friends at the G-Land Surf Camp was saying at 7.00AM wave height was a fun sized head to head high plus hitting Kongs and Money Tree’s. Clean and glassy conditions with 3 surfers in the water at the time of the report.
