****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello to everyone tuning into the baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the always the best chance of getting some waves in while on holiday destination of Bali.
First up I fill ya’s in on our Padang Padang session yesterday afternoon. We waited around for the tide to start running out and hopefull of the wind swinging back to the off-shore direction of ESE. Watching the flags and tree’s for signs of wind on the drive down the coast, it was still light on-shore at 2.30PM by the time we turned off at Pecatu. But by the time we climbed down the cliff into position the wind had swung back to off-shore and there was over head to tripple over head waves and some gaping pits. By no means all time Padang Padang but all the same there were some good set waves. Crowd wise everyone was somewhere else, 19 surfers in the water when we arrived and 12 when we left.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs was still looking pretty good with wave height coming through in the head to double head high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Middle Reef at the time with the tide just coming off the bottom of the low was probably the best. As the tide pushes back in Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right will have a few. But I’d be expecting wave height to back off through the afternoon.
Looking for a wave today well you could try your luck at just about any location on both east and West Coast while the wind is light on -shore this morning.
Surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs this morning were clean and glassy even though the wind was coming out of the W-NW @ 1-4knot.
Tide info has a 2.2mtr High @ 12.00PM and then running back out for a 0.2mtr Low @ 6.00PM.
Swell Outlook, looks like wave height will continue to drop over the next few days before a small swell arrives around Wednesday.
For the bodyboarders that frequent this site, I know it’s been a long time since I up dated your page but I’ve finally got some photos for ya’s. Also from Padang Padang yesterday.
