****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hi crew and welcome aboard the baliwaves.com for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the always in fashion holiday island of Bali.
This mornings surf recon on the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to be still holding in the head to well over head (3-4ft) range between Kuta Reef and Airport left. At the time Middle Reef was looking the best option seeing as though the tide was just coming off the bottom of the low. Surfing conditions this morning were clean and glassy with the wind coming lightly out of the WSW @ 1-3knot.
Ketut voluteered to take a run up to Canggu and shoot a few photos for ya’s and as you can see in this current gallery it was looking ok up there. The right hander in front of the creek was where the best waves were, with 30 – 40 surfers on it. While down on the Sandbar there were only 5 surfers. Surfing conditions remained clean and glassy at Canggu through until around 12.30PM when the wind switched back to the ESE.
Tidal info for today had a 0.2mtr Low @ 6.30AM and then filled back in with a 2.2mtr High around 12.30PM.
Weather wise it’s been mainly overcast for the most of the day with an occasional sunny patch.
Sms text surf report from the G-Land Surf Camp was calling fun sized waves in the head to over head range breaking from Kong’s down through Money Tree’s to the Launch pad. Five surfers in the water at the time of this report.

Kuta Traffic up-date, well I’ve been expecting it and she kicked in in full force last night with solid traffic grid locks through out Jalan kartika Plaza in Tuban, Jalan Pantai in Kuta is total madness along with Jalan’s Legian and Kerobokan. According to the calander the holiday is supposed to finish today but I’d say it won’t be until next weekend that the traffic settles down.
