****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves (since ’99) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice surfing holiday island of Bali.
This morning we were counting on that there would at least be something to surf. With the wind already fresh out of the W-SW blowing on-shore from Gilimanuk to Uluwatu. We waited for the tide to hit the bottom and then made tracks over to Keramas. By the time we arrived the wind was already blowing cross on shore but still some clean waves in the waist to head high plus range. Surfing conditions pretty much stayed the same with a crowd of 22 surfers at the peak of it. As you can see in the photos there was plenty of action on for young and old.
Tidal info for today had us down for a 0.2mtr Low @ 7.00AM and then filling back in with a 1.9mtr High around 1.30PM.
Weather wise over on the black mineral sanded beach of Keramas (it was pretty warm standing out in the sun taking the photos) the temperature out of the shade would have easily been 32 degree’s Celsius, mostly sunny with a patch or two of cloud.
Sms text surf report from the G-Land Surf Camp was also calling for a nice little bump in the swell. Head to well over head high waves hitting Kong’s and the top end of Money Tree’s. No surfers in the water @ 7.30AM.
