****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Howdy folks and welcome back to the original Bali surf report for our 1 click run down on today’s surfing and weather conditions here on the best value for surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing waves smaller than yesterday but still breaking in the head to well over head class between Kuta Reef and Airport left. Kuta Reef as usual when it’s got some swell was peeling off some long and perfect waves in the head to head high plus range. No shortage of takers as usual either with an average crowd of around 30+ surfers on it. Middle Reef was at it’s best after lunch as the tide was running out. Also in the head to well over head range with between 10 – 20 surfers at times. Airport left wasn’t picking up as much size as the other two but still some head high sets. We stayed locally today but tomorrows another day and I dare say we’ll be out on location again for ya’s.
Alim’s surf report from Medewi was calling long walls peeling off down the line in the head to over head class. Clean and glassy through the morning with around 20 surfers in the water.
Hopefully we’ll hear more from our friends up at Medewi over the coming weeks.
The crew at the G-Land Surf Camp also texted through a report to let us all know that there were head to double head high plus waves hitting Kongs and Money Tree’s. And at 7.30AM with an in coming tide and clean conditions there were no surfers in the water.
Surfing conditions started off with a light off-shore breeze coming out of the NE. It wasn’t until around 2.00PM that it increased in strength and shift more to the ESE.
Tidal info for today had a 2.0mtr High @ 10.00AM and then running out for a 0.4mtr Low around 4.00PM
Weather wise it’s been a mixed bag of cloud and sunshine around this part of the island. Temperature wise it was a pleasant 28-29 degree’s celsius.
