****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hi folks and thanks for calling by the baliwaves.com again today for the 1 click run down on surfing and weather conditions from here on the always in fashion surfing holiday island of Bali.
Well we are still doing it pretty hard wave wise here in Bali, yesterday the 1st of October and apart from the fact that it was raining cats and dogs through until around 9AM wave height was still only just showing in the knee to waist high class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. I was out in the boat chasing fish making the most of the current conditions. Even down at Balangan there wasn’t even 1 surfer in the water when we cruised past. There may have been a couple of small waves at Uluwatu but we didn’t get that far before the reels started screaming.
This morning the 2nd and our surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban is still showing knee to knee high plus waves between KR and AL. Just for the hell of it we are going to take a run down to Uluwatu for a look and shoot some new photos for you.
Surfing conditions couldn’t be better here along the West Coast with the aid of a clean ESE – SE off shore wind.
Tidal info for today says we’ll have a 0.8mtr Low around `10.30AM and then only just running back in with a 1.4mtr High later this afternoon.
Weather wise we’ve got a hot and humid one cranking up and the beach or by the pool is going to be the best place. Temperature wise we can expect the mercury to reach 33 degree’s celsius.
Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon we will see a litle bit more swell happening around the island. And get yourselves ready for this coming Wednesday with a solid swell in transit to Indonesia.
Sms text surf report from the good guys at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling wave height to also only be showing in the knee to chest high range on Kongs. Numbers over at the legendary left hander are way down and there was only 1 surfer in the water at the time of this report. Could be an excellent time to catch a few un crowded waves over in G-Land.
